How it all started..
In April 2022, my mother passed away. I was devastated and grieving, but I stayed in school and continued to pursue my biology degree. During a particularly difficult semester, a tutor encouraged me to explore internships. That’s when I discovered International Medical Aid—and was accepted. I chose to volunteer in Mombasa, Kenya, not knowing how deeply it would change my life.

At the hospital I was placed in, there was a strike happening. I was shocked to learn that even doctors, after all their training and dedication, still face unimaginable challenges. It was a wake-up call—and it opened my eyes to the systemic barriers people face in accessing care.

During this time, I met Kelvin, who is now my co-founder and dear friend. He introduced me to nearby village communities and their everyday struggles. Two weeks after returning home, I came back to Kenya using my own savings—driven not by a plan, but by a purpose. That trip helped me realize something I had always felt but never fully named: my heart is meant to serve.

​Faithful Paths is a CBO becoming a registered nonprofit organization in the Kenya—founded with the purpose of giving hope to the hopeless. We are more than a charity; we are a movement. Our website will showcase real stories of change and growth through video interviews, photo galleries, interactive progress trackers, and testimonials from the people we serve. Every image, every word, and every shared journey is meant to uplift and inspire.
