Who We Are

Terry Sherman

Founder & CEO

"Rooted in compassion, driven by purpose."
After losing his mother in 2022, Terry turned grief into growth. A biology student and aspiring healer, he found his calling on a volunteer trip to Mombasa, Kenya. There, he witnessed firsthand the structural challenges facing women, youth, and families in underserved communities. This moment gave birth to Faithful Paths — an organization founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. Terry leads with vision, heart, and a relentless commitment to building sustainable solutions from the ground up.

Kelvin Mwendwa

Co-Founder & Co-CEO

"Community is the heartbeat of change."
Kelvin was born and raised in Kenya and brings deep local insight and cultural awareness to Faithful Paths. As co-founder and community liaison, he connects directly with families, schools, and grassroots organizations. From organizing school supply distributions to leading outreach events, Kelvin ensures that the work is not only impactful but rooted in respect and partnership. His leadership is both practical and deeply personal — he believes every child in his country deserves the tools to dream beyond their circumstances.

Peyton Swan

Volunteer & Web Designer

"Design is storytelling — and our story matters."
Peyton is a skilled web designer and dedicated volunteer with a passion for digital storytelling. He works behind the scenes to ensure Faithful Paths’ online presence reflects its heart and mission. Whether crafting the visual identity of the site or optimizing user experience, Peyton’s work makes it easier for people to learn, give, and get involved. He volunteers his time out of a belief that access to opportunity should never be limited by geography.

Kenny Wright

Volunteer & Videographer

"If a picture says a thousand words, a video tells the soul of the story."
Kenny is the eye behind the lens, capturing the raw, beautiful moments that define Faithful Paths' work. From documenting community visits to editing storytelling reels that amplify local voices, Kenny brings authenticity and emotion to everything he films. As a volunteer videographer, he believes media should uplift—not exploit—and uses his skills to share truth, build empathy, and inspire action.
